The entire Canoë Presqu'île team is happy to welcome you to Saint Cirgue (opposite AMBIALET). You will go by Canoe or Kayak to discover the Tarn valley from TRÉBAS to BELLEGARDE-MARSAL, thanks to:

- Routes suitable for all levels: 9, 13 or 22 km.

- Formulas adapted to all your desires: 1h30, 1/2 day or full day


The price includes: the provision of practice equipment (boat, vest, paddle, waterproof container) as well as the transfer by minibus at the start or finish of the chosen route.

1H30 Body of water

Discover the end of the Ambialet meander in its green setting.

# Meeting departure 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. base Canoe Presqu’île SAINT CIRGUE

1/2 day “discovery” 9 km

Family route for strolling along the water, departing from Ambialet and navigating along the small rapids and passing along the charming hamlets of Condomines, Pécotte, Fabas then the white rock beach awaits you upon arrival at Bellegarde-Marsal .

“Escape” day 13 km

Family route (bring your picnic) departing from Trébas les Bains, the warm-up takes place at the Villeneuve sur Tarn bridge rapids then the three Thérondet rapids announce a well-deserved break. Finally you arrive at Ambialet classified as a “small town of character” with its rocky isthmus announcing its famous meander. Drop off your equipment, cross the dam and the Ambialet bridge on foot, you have arrived at our base. Possibility of going around the dam on foot to add 3 km of additional navigation “for the brave”.

“Full” day 22 km

For “early risers” who are wide awake. After the equipment, a shuttle drops you off from Trébas les Bains, 13km upstream. After around 2.5 hours of navigation and a guaranteed change of scenery, stopover in Ambialet. Drop off your equipment, cross the dam and the Ambialet bridge on foot (possibility of going around the dam on foot to add 3 km of additional navigation) you have arrived at our base. Immediate boarding for the downstream part, choose the same boat or change to another. A shuttle picks you up at the Roc Blanc beach in Bellegarde-Marsal.

Descent conditions

During the descent

  • Be over 7 years old

  • Know how to swim

  • Wearing a vest is obligatory

  • Wear closed shoes

  • Attach your glasses

  • Provide water to drink

  • Wear clothing suitable for water and weather conditions

  • Have sunscreen

The river is a natural environment to be preserved. It is imperative to pay close attention throughout your descent to the swimmers and fishermen you encounter.

It is also imperative not to leave any trash.
